Passenger Transport, the weekly publication of APTA, notes in its November 14, 2005 issue that the Bay Area Rapid Transit District (BART) announced that it is now possible to download schedules and maps into your iPod. Just go to the BART website. It's free, and it might be available for other mobile devices as well.

I have been a part of the Railroad Industry for thirty years, now. I have worked for Class 1 Lines, a Track Maintenance Contractor, a Railroad Facility Engineer, and have actually crossed over to the "Dark Side" by working for a Track Material Supplier.
